Shipping Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Who ships your order

Yata’s Marketplace is not the seller or the carrier. Your goods are sent by the seller or, for dropshipping orders, by an approved Supplier. Each listing shows who is responsible for it.

Delivery charges

  • Delivery charges are set by the seller or Supplier and are shown before you pay.
  • If your basket contains items from more than one seller, they are sent separately and each delivery has its own charge and delivery time.
  • All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).

Where we deliver

Each seller chooses the countries they deliver to. If an item cannot be delivered to your address, checkout will not let you complete the order. Food and treats are only delivered on routes that are lawful for the seller and set up on Yata, usually within the seller’s own country or between EU countries. Use the Delivering to selector on shop pages to see what can be delivered to you.

Dispatch and delivery times

  • Each listing shows the seller’s dispatch time and an estimated delivery window.
  • Estimates count working days and are not guaranteed unless the seller says so. Busy periods, weather and customs checks can cause delays.
  • Where the carrier provides tracking, you will be able to follow your parcel. Sellers are asked to confirm dispatch so that we can tell you when your order is on its way.

International orders

  • Import duties, customs fees, VAT and other taxes may be charged by the destination country or the carrier. Unless a listing says these are included, you are responsible for them.
  • Parcels can be held or delayed by customs. Please give us a correct address and a working phone number and email.
  • Some goods are restricted or banned in some countries. Pet food, treats and other animal-based products are very often controlled. Sellers must not send goods where it is unlawful, and we may cancel and refund an order that cannot lawfully be delivered.

Wrong or incomplete address

Please check your delivery address carefully before you pay. If a parcel is returned to the seller because the address was wrong or incomplete, re-sending it may involve an extra charge.

Late, lost or damaged parcels

The seller is responsible for your goods until they reach you. If your parcel is late, lost or damaged, contact the seller first and include your order number and photos of any damage. If you cannot resolve the problem, contact us. Your rights are explained in our Refund & Returns page and are not limited by this policy.

Sellers and suppliers

If you sell or supply goods through Yata, you must provide accurate shipping information, dispatch goods when you say you will, keep stock up to date and make sure your goods can lawfully be sent to the countries you choose. See sections 6, 11 and 16 of our Terms.
